A Lot to Metabolize

Wednesday morning, both head and heart are engaged as I head out the door to take the dog for a long walk. We have a new president-elect.
I meet up on Zoom with my artist friends. At the gym, I listen to the podcast The Daily. Back home, I join a politics-free Zoom discussion with MacSparky Labs, followed by lunch with my brother and husband, raking leaves and trimming trees.
The art studio continues taking shape in the back garden.
It's much the same on Thursday and Friday, with an added beach walk, checking in with friends, and one post-election Zoom discussion.

Thinking about who we are as a country and what the election results mean. Disequilibrium. I draw and jot notes while on Zoom calls and then work on them with the iPad. The dog is on my lap.
